Currently, the following programs and services are available:

Department of Behavioral Health - Assessment for counseling needs, mental health services and substance abuse services.

Transitional Assistance Department - One-on-one assistance to determine eligibility for Cal-Fresh, Medi-Cal or other programs.

Workforce Development Department - Individualized assessment of employment needs and experience. Maintains a network of felony-friendly employers to help probationers find jobs.

Public Health - A nurse is available every Wednesday to answer health related questions confidentially. The nurse can make referrals to appropriate clinics and can help in locating low-cost health care and prescriptions.

Free HIV Testing - Once monthly at each site.

Homeless Services - A probation officer coordinator works with the homeless to help them access food, emergency shelter or short-term housing and other resources.

Clothing Closet - A clothing closet is available for the homeless population in need of clothing. Additionally, business suits and appropriate work attire are available for clients to prepare for job interviews.

Classes / Workshops -Thinking for a Change, Parenting Class, Changing Your Life for the Better, GED, Child Support Workshop, Traffic/Record Clearing Clinic, and Public Health Education

  1. What will this cost? Answer: It is free.
  2. What transportation does probation provide? Answer: Bus passes and limited metrolink and gas cards. 
  3. Am I eligible for Calfresh Program? Answer: As of April 1, 2015 all people convicted of felony drug offenses are eligible for food stamps.
  4. Does Alcohol and Drug Services provide help for defendants with a job? Answer: Yes, ADS will refer clients to substance abuse services.
