SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY PROBATION
Juvenile DRC and class locations
The Day Reporting Center is a community based treatment program designed to help youth. Youth receive a variety of educational and restorative services in order to help them develop the assets needed to live more constructive lifestyles in the community.
There are three Day Reporting Centers (DRC’s) for youth in San Bernardino County. These DRC’s provide classes to youth in the community. Probation corrections officers and probation officers facilitate these classes, which follow the National Curriculum and Training Institute (NCTI) curriculum and follow the NCTI belief that young people can be taught skills to foster pro-social behavior.
The American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) has partnered with NCTI to assist in providing these curriculum to community corrections practitioners throughout North America.
